It is no understatement that this place had the best chocolate croissants I’ve had in Italy. The warmth of the baking, softness of the pastry and the generous Nutella was really perfect. We came back and had some of their slices and pies and although not the best I’ve had, they were probably top 5. Try anything here and you’ll not be disappointed.

We got a pane tipo di matera, foccacia, an some small bread rolls, one white and one with seminola as well as some marzipan biscotti and a hazelnut biscotto. Everything was delicious - the foccacia could have had a bit more salt, but we sprinkled some on ourselves. This is one of those traditional Italian bakeries that has that nervous/fast-paced energy, so be ready to jump in line and have your order prepared.

Beautiful, authentic bakery shop with wide range of freshly baked breads, pastries and biscuits. We tried a variety of different bakes. The cheese and spinach pie was absolutely delicious so as the almond cookies. The gentleman behind the counter was polite and helpful, he also gave us a free apricot biscuit which was very nice. Highly recommend this lovely baker shop when visiting Monopoli.

Best focaccia I’ve ever had! Everything we tried there was absolutely incredible. Best bakery I went to in Puglia. Can highly recommend!
Amazing service the lady behind the desk was so kind gave us two free dessert the pastries were really light and very tasty if your going to Monopoli you need to stop here very well prices too

We enjoyed the rolls, focaccia, and the cookies. All really tasty and enjoyable. We were going every day in the morning to then bring on our day trips for the kids.

Best Focaccia in town! We bought focaccia every morning and took it to the beach for lunch. It was always tasty, whether barese or bianca. Will miss it very much.
Very friendly and always nice and fresh bread ! I always tried ordering in italian and they were super helpful. Focaccia with onions and capers were simply delicious

OMG! Even if panzerotti was cold, it was perfekto. Do not hesitate to buy anything but panzerotti is one of the best I've ever eaten!
After discovering this bakery during our stay in Monopoli, we have been buying bread or focaccia for breakfast every day. Thank you, we have never expected to eat such a good bread in Italy :)
